Mari Young Spectators’ Theater

The theater puts on the shows in two languages - Mari and Russian. A significant part of them is addressed to the mass audience. Moreover, the theater's repertoire includes many performances for young spectators and high school students. These are the performances based on the plays of the Mari and Russian classics, foreign authors.

The informal education is constantly provided in the theater, such as the creative laboratory of the young playwright “U piese” (“New play”). The first-born plays of many modern Mari playwriters were staged in the Mari Young Spectators’ Theater.
