Bench of Love and Fidelity

The opening of the sculptural composition took place on August 15, 2009 on Pobedy Boulevard and was timed to coincide with the 425th Anniversary of Yoshkar-Ola.

The Bench of Love and Fidelity was a gift from MegaFoncompany to the residents of the city and was created as part of the "MegaFon Gives a Legend" project.

The sculpture is a composition of two swans - symbols of inseparability, pure, tender and true love. There is an inscription in front of the bench: According to the legend, a pair of swans is a symbol of true and pure love. They will give happiness to everyone who touches them. Work on the project began in April 2009 with the manufacturing of a life-size clay model of the sculpture, and ended with casting in Kazan.

The authors are Honored Artist of the Mari El Republic Sergey Yandubaev and Honored Artist of Russia Anatoly Shirnin. Material is bronze. Marble was usedfor decoration.
