Gogol bridge

Gogol bridge is the youngest in the city, it connects its riverside and central parts. It was opened on December 24, 2012. It is located between Gogol Street and the Bruges waterfront. The Nikolai Gogol monument is located not far from the bridge. The need to build Gogol bridge was due to the pedestrian traffic outflow from the Central bridge that would become a completely motor one. TheMalayaKokshagariverbeddepthatthispointreaches 8 m.The bridge approaches are equipped with the elongated ramps for the greater wheelchair mobility.
