Jubilee Square

Jubilee square was once the central one in Yoshkar-Ola, and the largest events were held there. Here,on June 22, 1941, the city administration announced the start of the war. Not far from the square, the residents of Yoshkar-Ola said goodbye to their relatives, leaving for the front in trains from the railway station, where the sculpture "Yyvan Kyrla on a railcar" now meets visitors.
