Map with accessible routes for the physically challenged guests

The tourism and information center in Yoshkar-Ola has developed an accessible route “Tsar’s city without barriers”.It includes acquaintance with the historical part of the city, the waterfront of the Malaya Kokshaga River, squares, monuments, sculptures and other tourist attractions.

The “Tsar’s city without barriers” program became the winner of the International Grant Competition “Orthodox Initiative” and was implemented using the funds received in 2019.

Moreover, the project was awarded the 2nd place of the All-Russian Tourist Award “Route of the Year” in 2019 in the category of “The Best Route for People with Disabilities”.

The project won 3rd place at the All-Russian competition “Marvelous Volga”.
