Water Sports Palace

This palace is the center for water sports development in the Republic of Mari El. For medical and recreational purposes, the swimming groups for children and adults, water aerobics groups, and the mother and child groups for the youngest kidsare functioning in the pool basins.

The water sports palace was built in a record-breaking short time (9 months), and opened on May 28, 2007. The size of the large pool basin is 50x25 meters, its area is 1250 sq.m. and a capacity is 150 people per shift. The water arena of the large pool basin has ten 50-meter tracks with a depth of 2.1-3.3 meters, the water temperature is 25-29°C, the air temperature is 27-31°C.

The small pool basin is provided for swimming lessons. Its dimensions are 12.5x6 meters, the area is 75 sq.m. and a capacity is 20 people. The depth of the small pool basin is 0.9-1.25 meters, the water temperature is 28-30°C, the air temperature is 30-32°C.

The pool has a preparatory room with the training devices, a rehabilitation center with a sauna and a swimming pool, a massage room and a medical supervision room, a press center, and a refreshment room.

The pool parameters allow holding the competitions of any level - from all-Russian to international ones. The palace stands can accommodate 800 visitors.
