The Bruges waterfront is located on the left bank of the Malaya Kokshaga River. It originates from the building of the Yoshkar-Ola marriage registration palace. Upon leaving, the newlyweds are greeted by a sculptural composition depicting a famous married couple, Grace Kelly and Rainier III, Prince of Monaco. They were the perfect married couple.
This part of the waterfrontwas named in honor of Bruges in Belgium. The waterfront with multi-colored house faces is similar to a small town in Belgium. This street is completely built up in the unified Northern Gothic style, typical for Europe in the Middle Ages.
